The OracleOracleAscendancy classDruid ascendancy12% increased Critical Hit ChanceHits against you have 12% reduced Critical Damage BonusNon-Keystone Passive Skills in Medium Radius of allocated Keystone Passive Skills can be allocated without being connected to your treePoE2DB · CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 is the best werewolf ascendancy. It is a druid, and the werewolf was meant to be played by the druid. Every ascendancy I’ve built a werewolf on will take you where you need to go, but the OracleOracleAscendancy classDruid ascendancy12% increased Critical Hit ChanceHits against you have 12% reduced Critical Damage BonusNon-Keystone Passive Skills in Medium Radius of allocated Keystone Passive Skills can be allocated without being connected to your treePoE2DB · CC BY-NC-SA 3.0’s damage ceiling is unmatched, thanks to its guaranteed critical strikes. The ShamanShamanAscendancy classDruid ascendancy+3 to Maximum Rage10% less Elemental Damage takenEvery 2 Rage also grants 1% more Spell damagePoE2DB · CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 is also a druid ascendancy and a bit tankier, but the OracleOracleAscendancy classDruid ascendancy12% increased Critical Hit ChanceHits against you have 12% reduced Critical Damage BonusNon-Keystone Passive Skills in Medium Radius of allocated Keystone Passive Skills can be allocated without being connected to your treePoE2DB · CC BY-NC-SA 3.0’s damage leaves it behind, and I’m happy to give up that tankiness for the damage.
This guide covers the budget version, which is very tanky, easy to afford, and still beats everything in the game. The stats are the usual werewolf ones: attack speed, elemental damage, critical chance, and critical bonus. You are guaranteed to crit as an OracleOracleAscendancy classDruid ascendancy12% increased Critical Hit ChanceHits against you have 12% reduced Critical Damage BonusNon-Keystone Passive Skills in Medium Radius of allocated Keystone Passive Skills can be allocated without being connected to your treePoE2DB · CC BY-NC-SA 3.0, but a little critical chance still helps, and the passive tree section explains why. The build is hybrid armour and energy shield. Zealot’s OathZealot's Oath
Passive skillExcess Life Recovery from Regeneration is applied to Energy Shield.Energy Shield does not Recharge.PoE2DB · CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 makes life regeneration apply to energy shield, and armour also applies to elemental damage, which is where the tankiness comes from. If you keep investing, the ceiling is infinite, and the Mirror Tier section at the end shows where that leads.
The rotation is the same as in the general guide, with one addition. Activate Savage FurySavage Fury
Skill gemWhile active, your Fury builds from Attacking enemies. Using this Skill releases your Fury to send you into a bestial frenzy, gaining damage and Onslaught but constantly losing life and forcing you into animal form. The frenzy ends immediately if you return to human form. You cannot gain Fury while in a frenzy.PoE2DB · CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 whenever it reaches 100%. You don’t need it in easy content, but in something like a fully delirious map you will want it.
